USE OF APPLICATIONS FOR TEACHING SPECIFIC MOTOR SKILLS IN SPORTS CONTEXTS

Abstract

The aim of this study was to analyze the apps available on the Google Play Store® for teaching specific motor skills in sports contexts, taking into account the possibilities for feedback. This research used a qualitative method, using Netnography techniques to analyze online data. Only five apps were selected and the most frequently reported feedback resources were verbal and visual information, through audio and video recordings. It was found that the five apps selected had strong and flexible points, with diverse functionalities, but all had feedback options to improve the teaching of motor skills in sports contexts.
