Abstract

Since philosophy is seen as a discipline and can be taught through its dialectics - we remember Socrates and his method - and since it has shown itself to be a fundamental part of the individual's ability to interact in the Polis, philosophy will suffer attacks from all sides. the parts. Initially, this article will aim to take a historical approach and report how these attacks occurred and, in another way, the situation of some thinkers and what happened to them precisely because they practiced the art of thinking. Among these thinkers will be Boethius, Socrates, Epictetus, among others. At another time we will talk about the specificity of Philosophy and the importance of its teaching. How it can be essential for the training of young people and those who love knowledge. Therefore, we emphasize the importance of encouraging people to understand the relevance of teaching philosophy.
