Abstract

This research asks: what are the discourses of the online media about the relationship between children and adolescents anxiety in social isolation and the school context in times of the Covid-19 pandemic? It is a documentary analysis and explores website reports, containing opinions promoted by professionals in the field of Education and Psychology, published in the first half of 2021 in Brazil. We use database search portals available on the internet, with open access reports. We performed content analysis for five categories: “mental health”, “depression and anxiety”, “return to presenciais classes”, “impacts of social isolation” and “family support”. The ten documents analyzed presented reports and information about changes in society's routines, more specifically in the lives of children and adolescents.
