Abstract

According to chemist Paul Crutzen, we are currently living in the Anthropocene era, marked by changes resulting from human action on the environment. In this study, we will seek, through bibliographical and applied research with a qualitative approach, to analyze literary works, comparing them, to verify the different forms of fictionalization of the relations between humanity and the environment, aiming to bring reflections on them, in addition to proposing activities to be developed in literature classes in order to contribute to the development of environmental education. For this purpose, the work is anchored in Anthropocene studies, in the interdisciplinary line of Ecocritics and in the concept of the Todorovian fantastic as methodological devices of analysis of the works A Maior Flor do Mundo (2001) by  José Saramago and Os Transparentes (2013), by  Angolan Ondjaki.
