Abstract

Who will be present in an end-of-the-world education? What will the schools be like? Who will be the subjects who, after all the earthly transformations and modifications, will be able to resist and (re)invent an education for endings, closures? What will they teach us? What lessons can we learn (and teach) from these teacher-beings in our daily lives? This text, which is part of a master's degree research, seeks to problematize how abnormal people are produced at school. Here in a special and fabulous way, we tell the story of Arthur, a student who disembarks from the Nau dos Loucos to educate Professor Bacamarte to stop “teaching” and focus on “learning together” in a school for abandonment. We dream of a school for dropouts. A school where everyone can be whatever they want, including nothing. A school that refuses standardizations, classifications and predetermined diagnoses to give way to colors, dreams, desires, to doing things together that creates a new way of being, existing and relating at school.
