Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted different spheres of society. In Education, the necessary changes were accompanied by challenges for schools and teachers, and among them was the lack of specific training for the use of Information and Communication Technologies - ICT's in the context of urgency. This qualitative work aims to characterize challenges and adaptations of teaching practices experienced by teachers in the early years of the municipal network in Londrina-PR, during remote teaching. The research gave voice to thirteen professors through the application of a semi-structured questionnaire. As a result, it was possible to highlight the anguish generated by the disease, excessive workload and the difficulty in reconciling the home routine with the professional one. On the other hand, the teachers point out the feeling of overcoming and duty done when going through this moment and resuming face-to-face life.
