Abstract

This research sought to understand the contributions of the Continuing Education Course promoted by the "Reading and Pedagogical Practices Project in the Childhood School in times of pandemic: teaching action for online and face-to-face teaching and learning". This is a descriptive research of qualitative data treatment and was characterized as a bibliographic and virtual research. The research problem consisted of: what are the contributions of the Continuing Education Course in the pedagogical practices of teachers of Early Childhood Education and Early Years of Elementary School with reading? It was considered that the Continuing Education Course brought contributions to the training as a teacher, in the careful look at the selected materials and the strategies used, rereading the pedagogical practice in the classroom, improving the act of reading and expanding the literary repertoire.
