O CAPITALISMO GLOBAL: RESENHA DA OBRA DE CELSO FURTADO

Trata-se de uma Resenha sobre uma das últimas obras de Celso Furtado. Este Ensaio é uma revisão da trajetória acadêmica do autor, bem como ilustra as preocupações de Furtado com relação aos problemas da globalização e da desigualdade. Como é notório em toda sua obra acadêmica, é constante a presença da cultura como pilar do desenvolvimento, e também da identidade dos povos perante seu próprio território, isto dentro de uma abordagem estruturalista da economia. Ao longo do livro, Furtado reitera seus posicionamentos sobre o subdesenvolvimento, apresentando inclusive alternativas de ação para superá-lo, considerando que seja necessário um Estado democrático forte politicamente para implementar políticas que assegurem a população de um desenvolvimento soberano frente ao processo globalizatório.Downloads
