As agroindústrias estão entre as estratégias de reprodução socioeconômica para muitos agricultores familiares. No entanto, enfrentam dificuldades de organização e de gestão econômicas de mercado. Uma das formas de organização das agroindústrias tem sido as cooperativas descentralizadas. Este é o caso específico do lócus deste estudo, o da Cooperativa de Produtos Coloniais e Artesanais- Cooloniale, localizada no munícipio de Pejuçara-RS. Este estudo teve a finalidade de caracterizar o perfil socioeconômico e da gestão das agroindústrias familiares que fazem parte da Cooloniale. Para isso, foi desenvolvida uma pesquisa qualitativa, exploratória e descritiva e como procedimento técnico, o Estudo de Caso da Cooloniale. O procedimento de coleta dos dados ocorreu por meio de entrevistas realizadas com os agricultores das agroindústrias familiares rurais pertencentes à Cooloniale. Pode-se considerar que as agroindústrias rurais familiares representam uma importante fonte de renda aos produtores e que a Cooloniale tem um papel fundamental, garantido a comercialização destes produtosDownloads
