The article is the result of an exploratory investigation, consisting of an analysis of the character of recent German migrations to the United Colonies in Paraguay. Focusing on the discussion of the migratory waves that started in the year 2021 and which continue today, a historical investigation of the formation of German colonies in the country is used for a better understanding of the phenomenon, the article aims to demonstrate the particular character of these migrations. The particularity of migrations is evidenced a priori by its counterflow character, since most current migrations are directed to the countries of the European Union, Germany in particular is the country that receives the most immigrants and refugees, such subjects leave their country towards the interior of the northern region of Paraguay. Among the most notorious factors of the migratory decision of these subjects, reported by them and which is the object of reflection in this article, is exactly another migratory flow: the significant arrival of Muslims in Germanic territory that is seen as a danger for such Germans. In addition to this reason, another factor highlighted by the migrants is the alleged arbitrariness of the German government, especially in relation to the vaccination policy, such subjects arrived and arrive in Paraguay without being immunized against COVID-19. Another motivation, this time highlighted by the Paraguayans, is that for the Germans the country is more economically viable taking into account the values of Paraguayan taxes compared to Germans.
