O patrimônio cultural nos municípios catarinenses integrantes do geoparque mundial da UNESCO Caminhos dos Cânions do Sul

O artigo tem como objetivo refletir a respeito das imbricações existentes entre o Geoparque Mundial da UNESCO Caminhos dos Cânions do Sul e o patrimônio cultural presente nos quatro municípios catarinenses integrantes do território. A metodologia baseia-se em pesquisa documental e bibliográfica. Como resultado observou-se que o patrimônio cultural exerce papel de destaque dentro da estrutura do território de um Geoparque e que a chancela da UNESCO concedida pode trazer desdobramentos positivos para a riqueza cultural presente na região.
