Na entrevista, Valle discorre acerca de sua trajetória acadêmica. Os entrevistadores a questionam sobre os desafios de uma mulher no campo da pesquisa, sobre a ponte Paris - Brasil, que acontece a partir da experiência de doutoramento em Ciências da Educação pela Université René Descartes - Paris V Sorbonne, momento a partir do qual passa a ser uma estudiosa da obra bourdieusiana, após participar de cursos ministrados por Pierre Bourdieu.
