Abstract

This study investigates the fake news discourse against three three left-wing politicians historically tied to the defense Human Rights: Marcelo Freixo (PT), Maria do Rosário (PT) and Marielle Franco (PSOL), in order to understand how electoral disinformation commits racial and gender violence and it is propagated as negative propaganda Methodologically, the work uses AD to understand this phenomenon and Charaudeau's Semiolinguistic Theory (2018), using the author's concepts in the political and media fields, especially the sociodiscursive imaginaries ones. . It was used Iramuteq software to assist in the analyses by providing word clouds and similarity graphs.
